What motivated you to join the company?
My older brother used to work in a welding-related field, so I had many opportunities to hear him talk about it, and so welding became a familiar job to me.
As I listened to various stories, I became interested in welding myself and decided that I wanted to work in a welding-related field, which is what led me to join the company.
What do you find rewarding or enjoyable about working at this company?
I have been with Katsukawa Nekko for eight years, and I mainly do welding work.
This company performs a wide variety of welding including shielded metal arc welding, TIG welding, semi-automatic welding, and brazing welding.
I am also obtaining welding qualifications for these welding tasks, and I am constantly improving my skills.
I feel that it is very rewarding to be able to do this.

Our company was founded in 1934 in Matsubara City, Osaka Prefecture as a manufacturer of industrial heat exchangers.
The manufacturing process for all industrial products involves heating and cooling processes, and our products are used in the manufacturing processes of most familiar products, including automobiles, food, pharmaceuticals, electrical appliances, and construction materials.
We also supply heat exchangers for environmental facilities, such as waste disposal plants, sewage treatment plants, and power plants, to make effective use of thermal energy (improving combustion efficiency by preheating air/using exhaust heat as hot water).
